Muslimheritage.com falsely implies that the physician al-Zahrawi (936-1013) invented lipstick, underarm deodorant and black hair dye.

LIPSTICK
Actually, lipstick was used N.Y. the Sumerians 5000 years ago, and lipstick was used by both men and women in ancient Egypt.

UNDERARM DEODORANT

The ancient Egyptians applied perfume under their arms.

BLACK HAIR DYE
Black hair dye was brought from India to Europe by Alexander the Great. Hair dyeing in other colors had been done in ancient pre-Islamic times.
